A new brand is not something you do for novelty. You do it when the story changes and the market needs a clear signal.
For LBL, the story changed in a specific way: from a legacy identity into a partner-led identity meant to carry the firm forward with gravity. The brand system was built to hold compassion and professionalism at the same time, and to feel consistent whether someone meets the firm through a referral, a search result, a phone call, or the front desk.
The mark draws from the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, a defining local landmark connecting Covington and Cincinnati. It works as a literal reference point and as a metaphor for the work: helping families move from disruption toward stability.

The type system pairs Ivar Text and Lab Grotesque, both from Swedish foundry Letters from Sweden. Ivar brings steady, editorial gravity. Lab Grotesque keeps the system crisp and readable in digital and functional contexts. Together, they feel composed and modern without feeling cold.
The color system supports the same emotional target: grounded and calm, with enough warmth to feel human. It is designed to carry serious subject matter without leaning dramatic or sterile.
