Jose Salazar sought to create something refined yet exotic with his second restaurant, Mita’s. The restaurant serves Spanish-style tapas influenced by Chef Salazar’s Columbian heritage in a dramatic and spacious setting in the heart of downtown. We worked with Salazar and his team to refresh Mita’s identity and graphic assets to reflect a more youthful and vibrant tone, which is more representative of the culinary program and approach to hospitality.
The patterns and style of the brand drew inspiration from the beautiful buildings, colors, and gardens of Seville, Spain.
