We started the project with a full-day kickoff with Brownell’s team at their Birmingham, AL headquarters, performed qual and quant research, presented insights and dove into black and white user experience design. The biggest challenge we embraced during the rigorous user experience design process was to bring together their separate “hosting” website, designed at recruiting potential travel advisors, and their “travel” website, designed to promote luxury destinations and partnerships into a single site that could be easily navigable by both audiences. Once Brownell signed off on our initial strategy and UX, we dove into the arduous process of collecting content, designing the front-end interface, and building to spec. The website launched at Brownell’s annual Travel Advisors conference to fanfare and excitement and we continue to work with the client on designing and building out new features and functions.
