A downtown coworking space will feature an exhibition this spring by local female artists who use tools and mediums more traditionally associated with men.

Attention to Detail: An Exhibition of the Female Fabricator runs March 5-May 29 at 1628 Ltd., a coworking space that offers boutique amenities in an art-filled setting. The upcoming show will highlight the work of Susan Byrnes, Margot Gotoff, Lori Nix, Jennifer Purdum and Rachel Suzanne Smith – artists who defy gender stereotypes that still persist in art.
