Esquire, in its annual roundup of the best taverns, drinkeries and watering holes in the nation, has named an Over-the-Rhine bar among the 27 best in the United States.

Wodka Bar at 1200 Main St., which opened just more than a year ago in May 2019, was named to Esquire’s 2020 list of the 27 best bars in America. It was the only Cincinnati bar to make the list, and one of four in the state of Ohio.

Wodka Bar was opened by Sarah Dworak, the owner of Babushka Pierogies. The bar serves Eastern European fare, and its beverage program has a focus on vodka, with a selection of spirits infused with other ingredients in-house.
