Dear has been hosting intimate prix fixe patio dinners to serve as a warmup for dinner service and to test out some of the menu items that Chef Brian Young, a Bravo TV “Top Chef” competitor, created for the restaurant.
“It was nice to have those small, intimate dinners to get to know our neighbors and friends and to see the space for the first time,” director of private events Ashley Heidt told me.
The restaurant is being opened by Heidt and her husband, Austin Heidt, alongside Chef Young, Sous Chef Jack Halfin and General Manager Cole Liegele.
